Jake and I feel so blessed to live next to both of our families and be able to spend the holidays with them! Thanksgiving with the Hyer's was at my mom and dad's house this year. I think we had about 40 people there this year. I know it sounds nuts but that is the joy of a big family! Jake deep fried a turkey with his dad and brothers for the Hyer family dinner and it was the shining star of the meal!

Crazy Cousins
For as long as I can remember we I have always eaten major holiday meals in the garage. There has always been to many of us to fit in house. This year was no exception. Ü

The Overall Family dinner was at Matt and Aj's house this year. It was a wonderful meal as well. Jake and I have learned to pace ourselves.. when we want to go back for seconds on dinner at one families house we don't. Then we don't feel bad for eating again an hour later. Ü

Every couple of years Jake's birthday just happens to fall on Thanksgiving. This was the year for that as well. Typically Jake asks for pumpkin pie instead of cake on his birthday but since we were already having that he asked for a pumpkin roll for his birthday. Here is a picture of him blowing out his candles! Happy 27 Jake!
Presents!

Flynn also decided to take his first steps on Thanksgiving. He was only ten and a half months old! He is growing up so fast some days I can hardly believe it.
